About this CD

All the file on this CD were originally compiled on a wiki during the Transformers 2007 holiday (http://wiki.camp/). The wiki software is MoinMoin version 1.5.4., running on Python 2.5.1 (all running on Ubuntu 7.04).

There is also a custom macro plug-in, Thumbnails.py which is loosely based on Gallery.py but without some of the extra bells and whistles which make that unsuitable for CD conversion. The macro uses PIL (Ubuntu package python-imaging), which itself uses jpeglib.

Moinmoin itself includes a basic script to export a set of web pages from a wiki site. We used this to produce the files on this cd, together with an extra script moindump.py which tidies up the output.

For Windows users, we use Autoplay, a GPLed helper program to launch index.htm. The executable file is autoplay.exe, and the source code autoplay_src.zip. The wikitofs.py script copies the autoplay.exe attachment of this page into the root of the CD, and generates an autorun.inf.

The content of the CD can also be found at http://transformers.org.uk/cd which we aim to keep updated if there are any corrections required. It may also contain some additional material.

We use deepburner1_portable.zip from http://www.deepburner.com/ to record the discs.
